I’m Mark. My purpose here is probably to post some of my wisdom - which should not take long. I think I might have started this whole walking thing between us by losing enough of the fat i collected over the last 5 years to make climbing mountains possible.
Right now, I am soon to become Spare Weekend’s glamourous overseas reporter. On Novemeber 2nd, 2006 I fly to New Zealand (via Hong Kong) for a years working holiday. I will be walking all the famous (and not so famous) tracks out there - there are some awesome 3-5 day treks with DOC Huts (think bothy / youth hostel cross) for accomodation. The walks go through all sorts of terrain - from volcanos to alpine and beyond. Oh and its about to be summer out there :-).
